DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG, through its wholly owned subsidiary DEA International GmbH, received a US$100 million payment from EGPC for partial settlement of DEA Group’s outstanding receivables in Egypt.

DEA presented its 2017 Q1 Results on 11.05.2017.

Production from the offshore WND gas fields commenced on 24 March 2017 from the first two fields, Taurus and Libra. Nine wells have now been commissioned and the fields are currently producing at a flow rate of more than 700 million cubic feet of gas per day.

DEA is ready to invest in the future of the Njord area in the Norwegian Sea. The partnerships in the licences Njord and Bauge have submitted the plans for the development projects to the Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Terje Søviknes. Capital expenditures for both fields total more than 2 billion Euros. DEA recently increased its interest in seven licences in the Njord area and has now a share of 50% in the Njord field.

The plan for Development and Operation (PDO) for the DEA operated Dvalin development has been approved by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
